Feel. Pause. Heal.
A space to feel, pause, and begin healing
You don't need to have it all figured out to reach out. Therapy is a space to slow down, make sense of what feels overwhelming, and rediscover your own strength — at your own pace.
"Sometimes, words hold what's hard to say out loud. Here's something that captures a feeling many of us carry."
Buy me a new brain,
this one is faulty—
wires crossed, frayed at the edges,
sparking in quiet moments
like it's always about to burn me down.
Buy me a new brain,
this one has forgotten
how to support my lungs,
leaves my breath hanging—
half in, half out—
like even air
has to be earned.
Buy me a new brain,
rewiring this one costs too much,
and maybe it's beyond repair—
it keeps collapsing inward,
like it was never built
to hold me.
Buy me a new brain,
this one talks mean to me,
in a voice that sounds like mine
but sharper, crueler,
certain that I am
everything that went wrong.
Buy me a new brain,
this one is overfilled with pain—
it hoards it, feeds it,
stacks it in corners
until there's no room left
to rest.
Buy me a new brain,
this one is too creative—
it creates scenarios
where I am being hurt,
again and again,
in high definition,
with no way to pause it.
Buy me a new brain,
this one rewrites silence
into rejection,
turns pauses into endings,
turns nothing
into something unbearable.
Buy me a new brain,
this one is loud at night,
pressing against my chest,
counting how many breaths
I can take
before it tightens again.
Buy me a new brain,
this one doesn't support me anymore—
it pulls the ground away
so quietly
I almost blame myself
for falling.
And I don't know
where it ends
and I begin anymore.
But I am still here—
somehow—
breathing in fragments,
holding on in pieces,
even when this brain
doesn't want me to.
Maybe that means
there's something in me
it hasn't broken yet.

FAQ
Questions you might be wondering
Here are some things people often ask before starting therapy.
What happens in the first session?
+
The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. I'll ask about what brought you here, your background, and what you're hoping to work on. There's no pressure — it's simply a conversation so we can understand your needs and decide together how to move forward.
How long does therapy take?
+
The duration varies for each person. Some people feel significant relief after a few sessions, while others benefit from longer-term support. We'll regularly review your progress together, and you're always in control of how long we continue. There's no fixed timeline — it depends entirely on your goals and pace.
Is everything I share kept confidential?
+
Yes. Everything shared in our sessions is strictly confidential. I follow professional ethical guidelines around privacy. Confidentiality would only be broken in very specific circumstances — such as if there was a serious risk to your safety or someone else's. This would always be discussed with you first wherever possible.
Do you offer online sessions?
+
Yes, I offer sessions online via secure video call, making therapy accessible wherever you are. Online sessions are equally effective and offer the added comfort of attending from your own space. Just reach out and we can discuss what format works best for you.
I'm not sure if I need therapy — can I still reach out?
+
Absolutely. You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Many people come simply because they feel stuck, overwhelmed, or want to understand themselves better. The free 15-minute consultation is a great first step — it's just a conversation with no obligation, and it can help you figure out if this feels right for you.
What approaches do you use?
+
I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Transactional Analysis, Psychodrama, and person-centred therapy. I tailor my approach to each individual — there is no one-size-fits-all method. What matters most is that the work feels meaningful and relevant to your life.
What is the difference between a counsellor and a psychiatrist?
+
A counsellor or therapist focuses on talk-based therapy — helping you explore emotions, patterns, and experiences to bring about psychological change. A psychiatrist is a medical doctor who can diagnose mental health conditions and prescribe medication. I work as a counsellor, and in some cases I may recommend that you also consult a psychiatrist — but this will always be discussed collaboratively.
"At the core of my work is the belief that meaningful change happens when you feel seen, understood, and supported."

I'm Simran Pawar, a mental health professional dedicated to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences at your own pace.
My work is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based approaches. I integrate methods tailored to each person's unique needs — so we can understand patterns, process emotions, and build tools that feel practical and sustainable in everyday life.
I believe therapy is not about "fixing" you, but about understanding yourself more deeply and creating space for growth, choice, and authenticity. I want our sessions to feel like a place where you can show up exactly as you are — without filters, pressure, or judgment.
